Terms & Conditions

If you have any questions, comments or complaints, please do get in touch. We will do everything we can to resolve any issue.


Once you place your order, we will begin processing your information as soon as we can. If we notice any missing information or anticipate any issues, we will get in touch with you to ask further questions. Otherwise the order should be processed and dispatched, usually within 3-5 working days.


Your payment is taken as you place your order so you will always be charged at the rate advertised at the point of ordering. We anticipate raising prices once a year however if necessary we will adjust prices outside this schedule.

Prices are displayed VAT inclusive and are in GBP.


We take great pride in the quality and condition of our product and it should reach you in the best possible condition. When you receive your order please open it as soon as possible and inspect it. If you aren’t happy with what you find, please get in touch right away by email to hello@betterlittletreats.co.uk and if possible and relevant also email pictures. We will do our best to put it right. If you’d like a replacement order, we can send that out for you or if you would rather just have your money back, we can do that too once we have looked at the issue you are reporting. 

Likewise if your parcel has been damaged during delivery, please call us as soon as possible and if possible email us pictures. Risk of damage or deterioration to the goods passes to you, as the buyer, on delivery so please contact us as soon as possible. No claim for damage or deterioration after delivery can be accepted unless we’re informed straight away. Nor can we accept any responsibility for quality deterioration due to the following delivery problems:

  1. Incorrect addresses
  2. Unopened parcels
  3. Delayed deliveries due to weather problems.
  4. Gifts to recipients who have gone away or are unable to receive parcels.



Better Little Treats retains all rights of ownership and possession of the goods until full payment has been received.




In accordance with EU Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (DSRs) you have the right to cancel your order with us provided you give us written notice. Notice can be given any time after your order has been placed, up until 7 working days from the day after you received your order. Notice of contract cancellation under the DSRs must be given in writing to the address below.

You have 7 days to return any unwanted items. They must be returned, with their packaging unopened, and in the same condition which you received them in.  You should request a Returns Form from us to complete and send in with your return.

Once opened, all product is non returnable, unless faulty. For any quality related issues we will reimburse you for postage.

If you are returning an unwanted item, you are advised to obtain proof of postage and return to:

All items must be returned unused and in their original condition..

We recommend that you insure the return shipment as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and will be liable for damage to them until we receive them at our warehouse. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of us receiving your cancellation notice. If we do not receive the cancelled order back, we will arrange to have it collected from you at your cost.

Please note you may only use your right to cancel the order under the DSRs if you give us formal written notice of cancellation any time after your order has been placed, up until 7 working days from the day after you receive you order, by email or post as described above.



We use either Royal Mail or a courier service for delivery to most of the UK (depending on the size of your order). To some parts of Scotland and offshore islands, delivery can take longer. If we anticipate any issues we will contact you asap.


Please make sure that delivery address & postcode are correct as we cannot be responsible for non delivery due to an incorrect address. Likewise in the event of extreme weather or other events out of our control (eg civil actions, delivery vehicle breakdown etc) we cannot be responsible for any delivery delays.



We accept payment online by Visa, MasterCard and AmEx as well as Paypal. Your payment is processed via a fully authorised Payment Service which ensures that all your information remains totally confidential.

Payment is taken as you place your order and if the payment does not authorise successfully, your order will not be successfully processed. Please check that you receive not only a confirmation of your order but also a confirmation of your payment by email. If you have not received one of these, your order may not be placed successfully.



If you wish to cancel you need to contact us ASAP. You may cancel an order without penalty as long as we receive the notification before it has been processed for delivery. As we aim to offer a high quality customer service and therefore process orders as soon as we can, this timing can vary. Better Little Treats reserves the right not to accept or to cancel any order once accepted, without penalty.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions whenever you purchase products from us or use our Web Site.
